Nintendo Switch key survey
As you might remember, we’ll release Letters on the Nintendo Switch too!
We looked into the possibility of giving anyone interested a Switch key instead of a key for pc.

We hope everyone who’d prefer to get a Switch key will receive one but please remember that we have a limited amount of keys we can send out. So there is no guarantee that everyone will get one.
We’re very sorry about it but we hope you understand.
Let us know if you have any questions or concerns about the Nintendo Switch keys and please fill out the survey if you’d love to get one instead of the pc key.
Alpha
With the release coming up, we’re all busy working on the alpha version of the game.
Selina is drawing like there’s no tomorrow, adding more and more fun NPCs for you to interact with and polishing up the ones that are already in there.
We can’t show you any of the new characters she’s drawing up because we don’t like spoilers. 😉
But here you have a busy Selina drawing away:
Aleksandra leveled up from a code monkey to a whole code zoo! She’s bug fixing, testing and implementing new features. One of those is our diary.
The diary can be accessed through the menu and will be updated with every level and every decision you make in the game. It’ll help you remember what happened to Sarah already and will give you some additional insight into her life.
So keep your eyes peeled for that awesome new feature in the final game.
We couldn’t get Aleksandra on a gif but she made a very punny one for the Swiss national day so we’ll add that one instead. We hope it cow-nts too:
Martina is done writing aaaaall the chat messages, dialogue lines and all the other text we have in the game.
While that is being revised by our friends at PID Publishing, she spends all her time creating new sound effects for the game. Since we don’t have a fancy studio, she records everything in her closet. It works surprisingly well because all the wood and clothes dampen any noise we don’t want in our recordings.
It gets a little dark and stuffy in the closet after a while but Martina enjoys screaming, laughing, babbling and growling in her little “studio” and we sure hope you’ll like the outcome:

How are you all doing? We had some online events last two weeks. It was lots of fun and we even got some more people liking our little game, which is always great to see :)
Q&A Stream
We participated in the #SteamNextFest, an event where soon-to-be-released games were being featured. As part of this festival, we decided to ask the community on discord, twitter and instagram if they have any questions about the game, the development, or anything else. We gathered these questions and streamed a video of us playing "Letters" and trying to answer these questions as good as possible :)

Nintendo Switch
We already got some questions about the possibility to have a Switch-Key instead of a PC-Key. As mentioned in the previous update, we unfortunately won't get a lot of Switch-Keys, so we won't make them as a default option for the Kickstarter Rewards. But we will prepare a Google Form or something like that so that we'll have a list of all the people who'd prefer a Switch-Key. Hopefully we will be able to give Switch Keys to all the backers who would prefer them, but we unfortunate can't guarantee it right now.
We'll update you with the link to the form in one of the next updates, stay tuned!
Shoutout
Swiss friends of us are live on Kickstarter with another puzzle!
It is drawn by 9 artist and features more than 360 endangered species showing them in their natural habitat. The team behind the puzzle collaborates with Conservation International, a global conservation organization working in about 30 countries around the world to protect nature for the benefit of people.
We think this is pretty cool, so if you like puzzle and want to help nature, feel free to check out their campaign :)

Hi there :D
We hope you are all doing well. We are quite busy lately and have lots of great news for you!
1. Alpha
We are so excited to have reached the alpha phase of "Letters". This means the game is now playable from start to end! The next step is to test it a lot, fix bugs and add all the missing assets, like sound effects and drawings, etc.
2. TRAILER!
Because we have an alpha build now, we also needed an updated trailer for the game. So we're really happy to show you our new trailer here:
A Shell in the Pit did an amazing job in creating this wonderful trailer for us and we're really pleased with the result.
3. Nintendo Switch :D
We sadly didn't reach the Nintendo Switch Stretch Goal during our Kickstarter Campaign, but we received the ProHelvetia post-production grant last year. So thanks to this grant, we're are able to do it anyway! We have a Nintendo Switch Dev Kit now and are working on a "Letters"-Version for the Switch.
We will only get a few Nintendo Switch game keys though, so there won't be a default option to change the Steam-key to a Nintendo-key. But should you prefer getting the Nintendo version of the game to the PC version, just write us and we see what we can do.
4. Marketing Publisher
We get to work together with PID Publishing. Thanks to them, the game will be even better! They're going to help us with QA, marketing and distribution, but we keep full creative control. We're really grateful to have teamed up with them, because making games is still new for us and it's always great to have someone with a lot of experience on board :)
5. Steam Next Festival
The "Steam Next Festival" will take place from June 16 - June 22 and "Letters" will be a part of it!
We will stream on our page and answer some questions from our discord and twitter friends. So feel free to check it out: Letters on Steam

Hello everyone!
Summer finally came to Switzerland and we're enjoying the sunny and warm weather 🥰 …from our office, because we're working very hard on some exciting new things (which are still a secret)!
